I use a wicking system for sprouting seedlings. The problem was that the original material provided could not be washed, thus requiring purchase of additional wicking surface for each use. I thought to use these as I recalled my wise Mama telling me how good flannel is as a wicking material (which is why those comfy sheets are made from it)!  As you can see by the pictures it works perfectly! Within 30 minutes of placing the cover on and sitting out in the warm 🌞 it provides the perfect environment. The best part is that I can swap them out and wash them in baking soda between uses!"
